Geely Education under Geely Holding Group develops Xinwei. Guided by “education tailored for each individual”, Xinwei is an online learning platform prioritizing user needs and connecting with premium education resources. It explores innovative educational and pedagogical methods, and leverages digital technology to craft personalized learning solutions for learners.

USY has built a cluster of eight “Exploratory Labs/Centers” which are used by the famous Chinese and foreign academicians like Zhai Mingguo, Chen Guoliang and Rong Chunming for their workstations as well as the academic staffs for the scientific researches and their application. The elites from the related industries and businesses are also invited to have their teaching and experiments there. The eight “Exploratory Labs/Centers” are New Energy and Intelligent Connected Vehicle Engineering Center, the Industrial Product Design Exploratory Lab, Financial Innovation and Multi-Assets Intelligent Transaction Lab, the Supercomputing Center, the Intelligent Digital Logistics and Supply Chain Industry-University Collaborative Innovation Lab, the Experimental Teaching Center of School of Health and Medicine, the Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center of the School of Tourism and Hospitality Management, and the Comprehensive Practical Center of the School of Sociology. The students make good use of the labs or centers under guidance to experiment, practice, innovate, test, and apply.

So far, USY has established partnerships with more than 90 universities or colleges in England, Canada, Switzerland, Russia, U.S.A., Germany, Spain, Italy, Korea, France, Malaysia, Indonesia and Japan etc. Since 2017 to 2023, USY has hosted five sessions of the Forum for ASEAN-China Private Higher Education Development and Cooperation. In December 2018, the “China―ASEAN Private University Alliance" (ACAPHEI) initiated by USY was officially launched at Sanya. The Forum and the ACAPHEI win the support of the ASEAN-China Center(ACC), the Southeast Asian Minister of Education Organization Regional Center for Higher education and Development (SEAMEO RIHED), the Department of Education of Hainan Province, the Government of Sanya City and China Association for Non-Government Education. USY has provided degree and language training programs for international students since 2011.

USY has 15 schools and 10 industrial institutes,which cover nine disciplines encompassing Law, Literature, Economics, Management and Engineering etc. USY accommodates a student population of over 25,000. The university covers an area of 200 hectares boasting of “a university built in forest”. 1. Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens with a valid foreign passport.

2. Applicants must be physically and mentally healthy, meeting the medical examination standards required for obtaining a Chinese study visa or residence permit.

3. Applicants for the master’s degree program must hold a bachelor’s degree or above.

4. Applicants’ Chinese language proficiency must be equivalent to HSK-4 level or above. Whoever fails to meet this language proficiency requirement will attend the Intensive Chinese language course and take the HSK test.

3. Notarized most recent diploma, graduation certificate, or proof of current student status.

4. Notarized college transcripts.

5. Research plan, which includes undergraduate study background and the study plan of Master program in China. No less than 600 Characters in Chinese or English.

6. Original document or photocopy of Foreigner Physical Examination Form (must be issued by Chinese quarantine authority) received within 6 months.

7. Non-criminal record. Documents in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized translations in Chinese or English.

8. Recommendation letters should be sealed and submitted from two teachers of the University or college where they graduated.

9. APPLICATION FORM FOR USY MASTER PROGRAM, completed in either Chinese or English. Handwritten signature is required at the signature.

10. Letter of Guarantor, completed in either Chinese or English. Immediate family members are required to fill in either Chinese or English and attach a valid ID. Handwritten signature is required at the signature.

1.All above documents in languages other than English or Chinese must be attached with notarized English or Chinese translations.

2.Two original copies of EACH of the above documents are submitted at the time of on-campus registration.

3.ALL application documents will NOT be returned.

Enrollment

1.On receiving the application, USY will screen examination on applicants’ qualification and materials, then a team of experts will conduct a comprehensive examination on applicants’ Chinese and English proficiency, professional competence, and research potential, etc.

2. Applicants who meet the enrollment standards will be enrolled into the major they apply for. The list of postgraduate scholarship will be released by USY and informed to whoever is awarded the scholarship.

3. The List of Pre-admission will be released online application system. The Admission Letter and will be sent to the applicant’s registered email address. Applicants should make sure that the email address and the contact details are reachable.

4. The applicants who received the Admission Letter and the JW202 apply for X1 visa. In 30 days on entrance into China, the holders of the X1 visa will apply for Residence Permit for Study with the assistance of the International Office’s staff.

Graduation and Degree Awarding

To obtain the graduate graduation certificate and degree certificate recognized by the Ministry of Education of China, one should

1.complete the required credits, passing the dissertation defense, and meet the requirements for degree awarding; and

2. pass the Chinese language proficiency test required for master’s degree.

1.收到申请后，我校将对申请人的资格及申请材料进行初审，并对语言能力、专业素质、研究潜力等方面综合审查。

2. 我校将根据申请人的资格审查和考核结果，结合申请人填报的专业志愿择优录取。奖学金获奖名单以学校统一公布的结果为准。

3. 我校将通过网上报名系统发布预录取结果。电子版《录取通知书》和《外国留学人员来华确认表》将通过邮件发出，请确保报名系统填写的电子邮箱地址和联系电话有效可用。

4. 被录取的申请人持《录取通知书》和《外国留学人员来华确认表》到中国使(领)馆申请X1签证，并在入境中国后30天内将X1 签证转换成学习类居留许可.

毕业与学位授予

修满规定学分，通过学位论文答辩，且符合学位授予条件者，并达到毕业要求的中文水平等级，可获得中国教育部认可的研究生毕业证书和学位证书。
