Recently, the University of Sanya Hainan South China Sea Marine Vessel Science and Technology Museum has been officially approved as a social practice base for Chinese and foreign youth. This recognition not only showcases USY's remarkable achievements in international public science and historical and cultural education,but also provides an excellent window for Chinese and international youth to gain a deep understanding of China's science,culture,and social development.
As an important science and technology education base in Hainan Province, the museum has been committed to popularizing the history and culture, as well as the scientific and technological achievements of vessels and ships around the South China Sea Waters since its establishment.The exhibits in the museum serve as an important source of interest for Chinese and foreign youth, stimulating their enthusiasm for exploring knowledge about vessels and ships.The museum is the only one among local institutions. This approval is not only a recognition of the museum's long-term efforts in science popularization education, but also a high expectation for its future role in social practice activities for Chinese and foreign youth.
It is reported that the museum has previously received visits from students and teachers of SMA Hidayatullah Semarang High School in Central Java,Indonesia,and Pancasila University.The students showed great interest in the vessel models and popular science displays of the museum and gained a deep understanding of China's achievements in the field of marine technology through these activities.
