At 4:00 p.m. on the 9th of May, the employment ceremony for Guo Konghui, an Academician from the Chinese Academy of Engineering, as an Honorary Professor for Sanya University was held in the VIP Room of Shuhai Building.

Biography:
Kong Hui Guo is an expert who has made outstanding contributions in the areas of science and technology for Chinese Automotive Engineering. He came in the first batch of academicians of Chinese Academy Engineering in May, 1994. He is also a Senior Engineer, Professor and Doctoral Mentor of the Chinese Academy of Engineering. He had been in the positions of visiting research fellow of the Institute of Transportation of the University of Michigan in America, Chairman of the 5th Annual Conference Technical Committee of International Pacific Society of Automotive Engineering, Chairman of Technological Committee of FISITA in the 25th Annual Conference, Vice-principle of the Jilin University of Technology, Director of Jilin University Automotive Engineering College. He won the National May 1 Labor Medal, the National Award for Excellent Scientists in China.
